A Personal Note

My Why

I've loved working with seniors since I was 16, primarily in ophthalmology and senior living and hospice services. I once thought corporate America was my path, but I quickly realized it wasn't for me. As an executive director at an assisted living and memory care facility, the meetings, budgets, and staffing pulled me away from the very people I cared about.

Then I found my true calling in placement. It felt like God had a purpose for me. I prefer not to use the word "placement" — it feels impersonal. What I truly do is connect families with the right communities for their unique needs, considering their medical situation, social circles, and finances. I coordinate the entire process so families feel prepared and supported in their new home.

As I continued, I saw a growing need — not just for placement, but for care management and end-of-life services. That inspired me to start my own company. Life is hectic, and many people are still working when a parent becomes ill. When faced with doctors, unanswered questions, and uncertainty, families can call on me as their care manager. I simplify the process, accompany loved ones to appointments, keep detailed notes, ask the crucial questions, and manage the details so families can focus on what matters.

Having spent significant time in hospice, I felt called to serve there too, and trained as an end-of-life doula to honor those final moments. These times can be exhausting, but my goal is to ease the burden and help families navigate the journey — whether that's handling unfinished business, facilitating meaningful moments, or simply being present.

Let me take the weight off your shoulders. Together, we can make these transitions smoother and more compassionate.
